How are the morning of February 17th and the night of December 22nd related? Both are long….watching the devastation of the fire unfold on the morning of February 17th made it a very long morning indeed. It seemed to last all day...

The night of December 22nd is one of the longest nights of the year. On that evening will be the Longest Night Service…a time to recognize a loss...maybe it’s the loss of a loved one; maybe it’s the loss of a dream; maybe it’s the loss of joy or a relationship; maybe it’s the loss of our church and Pope Hall; maybe it’s the loss of ____________ (you fill in the blank)…or maybe it’s a combination of any of these.

Please come for the Longest Night Service at 6:00 pm in Witter Hall on December 22nd. This service is about hope and healing and acknowledging and praying for those losses. Know that you are welcome to invite others who may be finding this time of year difficult as well.

Faithfully yours,
