Confirmation 2023

***CONFIRMATION CLASSES MEET ON SUNDAYS FROM 5:30 UNTIL 7 PM IN ROOM 501***

Dear Parents, 

As we begin a new year, we look forward to confirming both youth and adults when our new bishop, the Right Reverend Shannon Duckworth, makes her parish visitation to St. Luke's on Sunday, June 18. 
 
In preparation for the bishop's visitation, Margie Gaudet and Gus Hodges will lead a confirmation class for youth who are in 9th grade or above in high school. This 8-session class begins this coming Sunday, January 22 at 10:15 AM in Room 501 (T-building on the Lower School campus). Folks will gather in Pope Hall and walk over together to the classroom.

Confirmation class will prepare youth to make a mature commitment to Christ and assume responsibility for their own spiritual growth. The story of salvation, as told in the Eucharistic Prayer we use for worship on Sundays, and how that prayer intersects with our lives, will help our youth deepen a personal relationship with the God who created and saved them and who sustains them by His love and grace.
