Youth and Family News from Sarah Bolt
Hi friends,
Here is what we have going on in the month of February for our children, youth, and families. Please let me know if you have any questions.
February 4 – Mite Boxes are here. As many of you might know, we choose a recipient each Lent to receive the funds collected in our mite boxes. This year's recipient is Ivy Sanders. Ivy is four months old and was diagnosed with RSV on December 14. Within a few days, her lung collapsed, she was sedated, paralyzed, intubated, and became septic. We will have the mite boxes available this weekend. You can follow Ivy’s journey by joining the Facebook group “All about Ivy.”
February 4, 18, 25 – Sunday School. Our younger group will continue with the curriculum from the Episcopal Children’s Curriculum, and the youth will continue their series about the Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds.
February 14 – Ash Wednesday. We will have services at 12 noon and 7 pm in the church.
February 16 – The Loose Canons, featuring Fr. Bryan on the bass guitar, will be at Belly Fire Studios on Lee Drive on the 16th from 7:00 – 9:30 pm
February 25 – Top Golf! Families are invited to enjoy some fellowship time at Top Golf on February 25 from 4-6 pm. Please let Sarah know if you plan to attend by February 19th so we can have a head count and know how many beys to reserve.
Peace,
